Mr. Bathing Ape Spring/Summer 2011
Most of you recognize Bathing Ape for its colorful camouflage, bright colors, and their signature ape motifs but they have begun to branch out into a different genre of men’s fashion. Part of Bathing Ape’s Spring/Summer collection will include a selection of single breasted and two-button jackets. I am glad Bathing Ape didn’t get too extreme in the first release of these new suits. Some brands easily could’ve tried to out do themselves and add double breasted suits, which just aren’t necessary the first time through. Along with the suits, BA will also release a simple selection of ties ranging from their famous camouflage to the ape motifs (I wish bow-ties, but it will only be neckties)

Things are getting pretty WEIRD PLATE in Chi-town right now. You might recognize this one from when Pretty Lights welcomed NYE 2011 with this song at the Congress Theater in none other than the Windy City itself. The city’s been on FIRE ever since.

Liberty of London x Edwin Denim
Hopefully everyone already knows about Edwin jeans because they have some of the best quality denim that I have come across. Edwin is branching out their brand and beginning to collaborate with a number of diverse brands, including Liberty of London. Once you slip these on you will be able to feel and see the very unique Japanese Red Selvege. Once you take a closer look at this pair you’ll see the beautiful print in the pockets and some of the internal sections of the jeans. But hurry and try and get a pair of these quickly because the word on the street is that there were only a hundred or so produced.
